The new marker stone and display board for the Dounby – Finstown section of the St Magnus Way was dedicated at a short ceremony on Saturday 15th of June by Councillor Rachael King and Rev John Butterfield.
On Saturday 15th of June at 10 am the next unveiling of The St Magnus Way waymarker stone will take place at the crossroads in the centre of Dounby.

There have been changes made to the planned substation. This mainly involves lowering the platform level by 1m to make it less visually intrusive.
A consultation event will take place at the Ayre Hotel in Kirkwall on Wednesday 6 February from 2pm to 7pm to provide the local community the opportunity to view the proposed design.
