The “Flotilla of Light” will take place on Saturday the 31 December at 3pm. Paddlers from Kirkwall Kayak Club will paddle around the marina with their kayaks decorated in colourful fairy lights.
The whisky famine had been mourned far and wide between Christmas and the New Year. Soon after midnight however, a surprising number of bottles made an appearance
The event is open from 11am – 3pm located at the Deerness Community Centre and there will be lots of tasty treats for everyone!
