Thursday 25th of April, the Archaeology Institute UHI will be hosting a discussion on : Climate Change and World Heritage – Orkney and Beyond.
Thursday evening saw the Kirkwall Grammar School team Timeless take this years award at Young Enterprise Orkney Area Team Local Finals

The project aims to take people through the whole archaeological process from finding objects in the field, to mapping, processing finds, and interpreting the results. Participants will produce internationally significant research in the World Heritage area, contribute to the wider understanding of these sites and landscapes through time, and learn new skills.
This event will give parents and young people an opportunity to learn more about the three types of Apprenticeships in Orkney
The Engineering Department was set up in 2017, as part of the Maritime Department and has a focus on land-based and marine engineering.
