St Magnus Cathedral is open Monday – Saturday, from 09:00 – 18:00 and Sunday 13:00 – 18:00 and is free of charge.
At each stage of their pilgrimage the story teller had recounted another part of the life of this quiet son of Earl Erlend who was to become Orkney’s saint.

The strong links between Orkney and Norway were demonstrated on May 17th as Kirkwall came to a standstill for Norwegian Constitution Day.
Around 25 people came together on Monday evening 16th April to protest at the illegal bombing of Syria by the US, France and UK in the early hours of Saturday morning.
It is to take place on Monday 16th April on the steps of the St Magnus Cathedral at 6pm.
