Orographic 5Oceanallover’s performance at this year’s Orkney International Science Festival, ‘Orographic’, left the audience with a sense of wonder and curiosity – not quite sure of everything they had seen but knowing it had been something extraordinary.

Orographic: ‘A Door On Your Foot’

The Orkney News caught up with Alex Rigg after the performance.

Orographic was performed on the hill which looms over Stromness –  Brinkie’s Brae. It was a misty, windy atmospheric morning .

The audience was guided over the rough terrain and conducted into position becoming part of the performance.
