Flood Alert from SEPA
This is an alert for coastal flooding. There is a risk of flooding and disruption from wave and spray overtopping to low lying areas and roads during Monday and into Tuesday morning.
The risk of wave and spray overtopping in these areas remains for all Monday. The greatest risk may be at times of high tide, although high tide levels alone are not currently expected to cause any flooding impacts.
The time of high tide at Kirkwall is at approximately 11 am GMT, and 11pm GMT but varies across the area.
