Patchy rain over Shetland soon dying out. Orkney quickly brightening up with some warm sunshine at times. Low cloud, haar lingering over Shetland but perhaps brightening up in shelter. Maximum temperature 19 °C.

Tonight:

Low cloud and haar continues over Shetland throughout the night. Orkney stays dry with clear spells. Southeast winds freshen overnight. Minimum temperature 12 °C.

Sunday 25th June:

Mainly dry, bright and warm Sunday but windier with heavy and perhaps thundery rain later. Maximum temperature 19 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Rain over Shetland at first Monday otherwise dry with sunny spells on Monday and Tuesday. Rain Tuesday night, clears Wednesday morning, showers follow later.
