It will be a mostly dry day with spells of sunshine, the best of these this afternoon. Small risk of an isolated light shower over Shetland. Light, mainly northerly winds. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Tonight:

Much of the night will be dry with clear periods. Cloudier skies and a few showers will edge into Orkney by morning. Light winds. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Monday:

Some early sunshine across Shetland otherwise rather cloudy. Still a lot of dry weather during the day but some showers continuing over Orkney, affecting Shetland in afternoon. Winds staying light. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Sunshine and a few showers on Tuesday and Wednesday then dry with sunny spells on Thursday. Becoming warmer.
