The Dashing Deer café at the Deerness Distillery has a new menu, so we went to try it.
On the way in I noticed a pleasing arrangement of pots containing succulents and sea-glass ‘Standing Stones’
Possibly referencing their ‘Sea Glass’ gin?
It was Bank Holiday Monday and the place was pretty much full – we were glad that we’d booked! There was a good atmosphere – families out for lunch – a general feeling of good will and good times being had.
We didn’t wait long at all to be served…and the food was yum, as always.
Our table had a succulent in a pot on the condiment stand. It looks like there might be a theme developing?
