One of Orkney’s most interesting shops for purchasing gifts is AT 59 in Stromness.

There are original works of Art by Jeanne Bouza Rose and Claire Kirkpatrick.    Many readers will know of Jeanne’s Art through her support of the Ness of Brodgar archaeological dig.

Claire’s work and beautifully selected giftware goes by the name LOLLIE AND LAINE.

‘The Heart of Stromness: Stories My Mother Told Me’ by Patricia Long, is filled with Jeanne’s whiteline prints, all the originals have now sold.
