On Saturday morning, 23rd of April 2022, a small group of people gathered together on the Kirk Green, St Magnus Cathedral, to protest against the illegal transportation of people to Rwanda.
A vigil will be held this Saturday, 23rd of April at 11am at the Kirk Green, Kirkwall to protest against the UK Government’s plan to transport refugees to camps in Rwanda.
A trade deal has been announced by the UK Tory Government where the product to be transported is people who have fled the horrors of conflict, war and oppression to seek help in a country they assume to be supportive of those living in terror.
